FIFA has taken a significant step in its digital evolution after announcing the launch of FIFA+ on DAZN, a move designed to consolidate live matches, original programming and historic football content onto a single platform as the organisations pursue their vision of creating the “Global Home of Football.”

The launch deepens FIFA’s strategic relationship with sports streaming platform DAZN following their collaboration on the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 and further strengthens DAZN’s position as one of the leading destinations for football content worldwide.

Under the new arrangement, FIFA+ content will be integrated into DAZN’s ecosystem, giving fans free access to thousands of live matches, documentaries, highlights, archive footage and exclusive programming. The platform is expected to deliver approximately 8,500 live matches each year from around 100 Member Associations, significantly expanding the visibility of international and domestic football competitions across global markets.

The offering will also include extensive archive content from FIFA’s flagship tournaments, including the Men’s World Cup and Women’s World Cup. Fans will be able to access full match replays, iconic moments, curated collections and previously unseen footage from some of football’s most memorable events.

Looking ahead, FIFA+ on DAZN will carry coverage of several upcoming competitions, including the U-20 Women’s World Cup in Poland, the U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco, the U-17 World Cup in Qatar and the Intercontinental Cup in selected territories.

Mattias Grafström, FIFA Secretary General, said, “The integration of FIFA+ into DAZN represents a key milestone in our ambition to make football truly global and accessible. Following the successful collaboration at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, we are now taking the next steps in building the Global Home of Football, bringing together competitions, content and storytelling on a single platform while creating new opportunities for our FIFA Member Associations to grow their audiences worldwide.

“Through this remarkable project, we will be able to continue celebrating the players who have made and continue to make football the world’s number one sport.”

Shay Segev, DAZN Group CEO, added, “Bringing FIFA+ to DAZN reflects our strong partnership with FIFA and our shared ambition to grow football’s reach and cultural impact around the world. With our global footprint, innovative technology, and powerful marketing engine, DAZN will enable FIFA+ content to reach hundreds of millions of sports fans worldwide.

“Launching FIFA+ will allow fans everywhere to access matches, iconic moments, and original content on DAZN for free as part of the world’s largest football community. DAZN continues to exponentially grow its premium content portfolio and cement its position as the global home of sport.”

From a commercial perspective, the agreement aligns with a growing industry trend in which sports rights holders are prioritising scale and audience reach through partnerships with established streaming platforms rather than operating standalone direct-to-consumer services.

For FIFA, the partnership provides access to DAZN’s global distribution network, technology infrastructure and marketing capabilities ahead of a crucial cycle that includes the FIFA World Cup 2026. For DAZN, the addition of FIFA’s extensive match inventory and premium archive content further enhances its football offering and supports its long-term ambition to become the global home of sport.

The launch marks another significant development in the rapidly evolving sports media landscape, where content aggregation, global accessibility and digital engagement are increasingly shaping the future of fan consumption.
