The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has signed Indian consumer electronics brand Intex as the official associate sponsor of the Afghanistan Men’s Cricket Team for its ongoing tour of India, strengthening the board’s commercial portfolio ahead of a marquee bilateral series in one of cricket’s most valuable markets.

Under the agreement, Intex has partnered with the Afghan side during its India tour, which is scheduled to feature one Test match and three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) from June 6 to June 20, 2026. The partnership provides the brand with a platform to engage cricket audiences across South Asia while aligning with a national team that has emerged as one of the sport’s most compelling growth stories.

The sponsorship comes at a time when Afghanistan cricket continues to build both its competitive standing and commercial appeal on the global stage. Strong performances in recent ICC events, coupled with the team’s growing fan base, have helped attract increased interest from sponsors seeking access to cricket’s highly engaged audience.
