S8UL, a global name in esports and gaming content, has announced Campa Energy, the flagship energy drink brand of Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL), as the title sponsor for its Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026 campaign.
The move is a significant milestone for Indian esports, bringing together the country’s foremost esports organisation with a fast-rising youth-focused consumer brand ahead of the world’s largest esports championship.
S8UL was appointed for the Esports Foundation’s Club Partner Program for the second year in a row, and it launched its most ambitious Esports World Cup campaign yet, spanning 13 titles, securing qualification spots in Fortnite, Honor of Kings, and Chess while remaining in contention in multiple other titles. The organisation has also placed a heavy focus on promoting Indian talent globally, with native players participating in a variety of esports titles alongside established foreign talent. The addition of Campa Energy supports this India-first goal by bringing together two local businesses to support Indian esports on a global scale.
Campa Energy will be featured on S8UL’s official team jerseys, digital content, fan interaction efforts, city events, and on-ground activations. The alliance shows a common objective of promoting Indian gaming talent on a worldwide scale while strengthening ties with the country’s rapidly increasing esports community.
Animesh Agarwal, Co-founder and CEO, S8UL Esports, said, “The conversation around Indian esports has changed significantly over the last few years. Today, it is no longer just about potential, it is about building globally competitive teams, creating sustainable fan ecosystems, and earning the confidence of major brands. Our partnership with Campa Energy represents that larger shift. As S8UL prepares for the Esports World Cup 2026 across multiple titles, having a homegrown brand support this journey reinforces the growing cultural relevance of esports in India. We see this as a shared effort to push Indian talent and Indian esports further onto the global stage.”
Campa Energy was established for a generation that continually pushes limits and strives to achieve more with each step. Campa Energy will energise S8UL participants across numerous championships as they prepare to represent India on a global scale. The brand also has an increasing role in the esports ecosystem, having previously partnered with JioBLAST All Stars vs India, a creator-led competitive entertainment format centred on Battlegrounds Mobile India that featured popular S8UL creators such as Payal Dhare, Raj Varma, and Parv Singh.
According to the latest FICCI-EY Media and Entertainment Report 2026, the number of companies investing in Indian esports is predicted to reach 80 by 2026, showing growing mainstream interest in the country’s fast-emerging gaming and esports ecosystem.
The EWC 2026 will be held in Paris, France, from July 6 to August 23, 2026. Over 2,000 players from 200 clubs from 100 nations will compete for a record-breaking prize fund of $75 million (~INR 720 crore). S8UL, which is backed by Campa Energy, will strive to build a name for itself by presenting Indian esports talent at the highest level of international competition.
