Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team has strengthened its growing performance and technology partnership portfolio after announcing AQUAME as the team’s official water bottle supplier during the 2026 Formula One season.
The partnership sees AQUAME provide its “2.0 Smart Water Bottle” technology to Aston Martin Aramco, reflecting Formula One’s increasing emphasis on data-driven athlete performance, recovery and wellbeing across race weekends.
AQUAME’s hydration platform uses Bluetooth-enabled smart bottle technology integrated with a dedicated mobile application, allowing users to monitor hydration levels, fluid intake and drinking frequency in real-time. The system is designed to deliver personalised hydration insights aimed at improving recovery, focus and physical performance in high-intensity sporting environments.
Matthew Chapman, Head of Licensing and Merchandise, Aston Martin Aramco, said, “We are excited to launch our collaboration with AQUAME, combining innovative hydration technology with Aston Martin Aramco’s signature style. Hydration is key to recovery and focus, so the collection has been designed to seamlessly fit into everyday life, combining premium aesthetics with smart, practical features.”
Steve Aidun Xie, Founder & Managing Director of AQUAME, added, “Our collaboration with Aston Martin Aramco marks a major milestone for AQUAME, bringing our advanced hydration technology to the pinnacle of motorsport to support a more data-driven approach to hydration.”
Hydration has become an increasingly critical area of focus in F1, where drivers can lose several kilograms of body fluid during races due to extreme cockpit temperatures, humidity and physical strain. Teams across the grid continue to invest heavily in marginal gains through sports science, biometrics, recovery systems and wearable technology as the competitive battle intensifies both on and off the track.
As part of the collaboration, Aston Martin Aramco team personnel will use customised co-branded AQUAME smart bottles throughout the season. The partnership will also extend into the consumer market, with a range of Aston Martin-inspired AQUAME bottle designs expected to be made available to fans.
The deal further strengthens Aston Martin Aramco’s expanding commercial ecosystem, which increasingly spans technology, wellness and lifestyle categories alongside traditional motorsport sponsorships. The F1 team’s current partner portfolio also includes brands such as Cohere, Breitling, TikTok LIVE, Honda, CELSIUS, Meccano and more.
