MI London expand commercial footprint with Sokin and BKT deals

MI London have expanded their commercial portfolio ahead of the 2026 season of The Hundred after announcing new sponsorship agreements with the global payments platform, Sokin, and the tyre manufacturer, BKT Tyres.

The partnerships further strengthen the franchise’s commercial proposition as the franchise enters a new era following its transition from Oval Invincibles under Mumbai Indians’ ownership banner. The Hundred champions are increasingly positioning themselves as a global cricket brand, leveraging the wider Mumbai Indians ecosystem that spans teams across India, South Africa, the United States and the United Arab Emirates.

Under the agreement, Sokin has been named MI London’s principal partner and will feature prominently on the front of both the men’s and women’s playing shirts throughout the 2026 season. Beyond branding rights, the partnership will also see MI London utilise Sokin’s international payments, foreign exchange and treasury management solutions to support its growing global operations.

The deal marks another major sporting investment for Sokin, whose expanding sponsorship portfolio already includes partnerships with Premier League club Nottingham Forest and English football giants Manchester United.

In its announcement, Sokin Chief Executive Officer Vroon Modgill said, “The company was excited to join forces with MI London and deepen its association with sport. MI London represents excellence, innovation and global ambition, values that strongly align with Sokin’s own vision.”

Alongside the Sokin announcement, MI London also confirmed BKT Tyres as an official partner for The Hundred 2026. As part of the agreement, the BKT logo will appear on the sleeves of the men’s and women’s playing kits.

BKT has become one of the most active sponsors in world cricket in recent years, building a strong presence across international and franchise competitions.

Rajiv Poddar, Joint Managing Director of Balkrishna Industries Ltd.(owners of BKT Tyres), said, “The company viewed cricket as a powerful platform to connect with audiences worldwide. We are delighted to partner with MI London and further strengthen our association with world-class cricket properties.”

The sponsorship announcements coincide with the launch of MI London’s new kits for the upcoming season. Based at The Kia Oval, the franchise remains one of the most successful teams in The Hundred and boasts a star-studded squad featuring Sam Curran, Will Jacks, Rashid Khan, Nicholas Pooran, Trent Boult, Hayley Matthews, Dani Wyatt-Hodge, Sherfane Rutherford and Jason Roy.

With new commercial partners secured and a roster packed with international talent, MI London continue to strengthen both their sporting and business credentials ahead of another highly anticipated Hundred campaign.
