BOSS suits up USMNT ahead of FIFA World Cup 2026

German luxury fashion house BOSS has been named the official businesswear attire provider of the U.S. Men’s National Soccer Team (USMNT), strengthening the growing relationship between elite sport and premium fashion ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026.

The partnership will see BOSS outfit USMNT players and staff in formalwear and travelwear for official appearances, media engagements, and team travel as the United States prepares to host the world’s biggest football tournament alongside Canada and Mexico.

At the centre of the collaboration is BOSS’ Performance Air Wool tailoring collection, designed to combine contemporary styling with functionality. The range features lightweight, breathable fabrics and relaxed silhouettes tailored to meet the demands of professional athletes while maintaining a polished appearance off the pitch.

The agreement forms part of BOSS’ wider strategy to strengthen its presence across global sport, using high-profile teams and athletes to showcase its premium lifestyle positioning. For U.S. Soccer, the partnership adds another globally recognised brand alongside Bank of America, Jim Beam, New York Life, AT&T, Coca-Cola and Visa to its commercial portfolio at a time when interest in the men’s national team is expected to surge in the lead-up to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Beyond team outfitting, the partnership also includes a consumer retail component. Versions of the garments worn by the national team, excluding official federation branding, will be made available through BOSS stores, selected wholesale partners, and the brand’s e-commerce channels, creating a direct connection between fans and the collection.

James Foster, Senior Vice President, Global Marketing at HUGO BOSS, said, “This is an alliance between one of the world’s most ambitious teams and a brand built on confidence, style, and leadership. As the U.S. Men’s National Soccer Team steps on the global stage, we want the players to feel empowered the moment they arrive. Looking sharp. Feeling confident. Ready to represent their country with pride. Wearing the badge is more than a symbol – it’s a statement of identity, ambition, and honour. These looks are designed to reflect that mindset and give players a presence that commands attention. Together, BOSS and U.S. Soccer celebrate the badge, the team, and the pride of representing your country at the highest level.”

As football continues to expand its influence beyond the pitch, the agreement highlights the increasing commercial value of lifestyle partnerships, with fashion brands seeking greater visibility through national teams and major international sporting events.
