Oura serves up new partnership with United States Tennis Association

The wearable technology firm, Oura has strengthened its US sports sponsorship portfolio with the addition of the United States Tennis Association (USTA).

As part of a five-year collaboration, the brand has been appointed an official sponsor and wearable fitness gadget partner of the governing body and the US Open Grand Slam. The agreement marks the USTA’s first wearable relationship, making it the latest tennis body to join the industry.

With Oura Ring and Oura Membership, USTA players and their support teams will have access to critical health and performance data. The agreement will integrate Oura into every level of the game, with the wearable Oura Ring made available to all main draw players playing in the US Open.

The brand will have visibility on the competition grounds and in worldwide broadcasts through on-court logo exposure at Arthur Ashe Stadium and Louis Armstrong Stadium, as well as substantial signage and virtual LED messaging on the court. Oura will also run a fan interaction campaign, including activities such as product giveaways, sleep and recovery education, and personalised health insights.

Beyond the US Open, Oura will be integrated into numerous USTA platforms, including USTA Coaching, USTA League National Championships, and USTA membership.

Starting this year, Oura will sponsor the USTA League National Championships, providing advantages to both USTA and USTA Coaching members. The USTA and the Finland-based organisation will also work together on educational health and wellness projects. In addition, Oura will become a founding partner of the USTA’s Player Performance Center, with naming rights to a wellness and recuperation area when the building opens in 2027.

Kirsten Corio, USTA Chief Commercial Officer, said, “Oura and the USTA share a vision rooted in health and wellness, and this partnership will amplify that in so many ways. Oura’s presence at the US Open will have an immediate and long-lasting benefit for fans, players and coaches, and Oura’s commitment to the grassroots — leveraging their best-in-class recovery science and data to benefit players and coaches alike — make this a partnership that can have a demonstrative impact on the growth and vitality of our game for generations to come.”

Oura has lately formed partnerships with many US national groups, including a contract with the US Soccer Federation last month. It was announced in February as the official wearable sponsor of the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics, Paralympics, and Team USA.
